'Study to show yourself approved
unto God'
2 Tim 2:15
Professor Mark Jackson
On behalf of myself and the members of the Faculty I extend a warm and personal welcome to you with the sincere hope that you will decide to enrol as a student and enjoy a successful period of in-depth study and personal development as a Christian with us. I can assure you that the College offers only the highest academic attainments and its certificate and degree courses are recognised by fully accredited evangelical educational bodies. The College operates free from both the input and influence of secular centres of higher education. It has no contact with any of them. It is uncompromising in its belief that in it must be kept separate from any similar State-run organisation and on that basis it does not and never will seek government funding. Its mission statement and prospectus reflects its belief in the Scriptures as the inspired and inerrant Word of God and the only acceptable rule for the Christian’s daily life and grounds of saving faith. The prospectus offers general guidance on the courses of study available but these can be adapted to meet the individual needs of a student. This facility is offered on the understanding that the structure and research of the subject has been approved in advance by the College and not in direct conflict the College’s Constitution or declared Doctrinal Statement.
The College is bound by its Constitution and Doctrinal statement. Members of its Faculty and other staff are sympathetic to its tenets. The College operates a policy of providing world-wide -
equal opportunities for those wishing to pursue theological study without distinction as to race, culture or social background. It invites applications from the widest number of suitable candidates. The College affirms an overall literal basis for the understanding of all Scripture. It promotes a Christo-centric approach to study using both systematic and expository methodology. The College is non-denominational but it operates within inter-denominational family of Christians holding to the Trinitarian position.
The college is continually developing courses of study it believes relevant to those preparing directly for the Christian ministry or other equally important spheres of Christian service in the 21st century. It is international in its outlook providing not only for those in this country but also for students resident abroad. It accepts applications from students in a position to undertake on-line study on a full time basis whilst also having the flexibility to meet needs of those, who for personal reasons, can only meet the demands of distance learning, part time. Where a student has limited access to regular computer services a postal arrangement is acceptable. The College constitution can be stated succinctly (again see page two) through its aim, objective and doctrinal position.
